Custom Design + Fabrication

Asked to create a “molded plywood extravaganza” to serve 350 cupcakes for a couples wedding reception, we worked through the logistics of displaying, serving and accommodating the variety of flavor choices and user needs. Each cupcake was presented on an individual shelf supporting a custom engraved wooden “take-away” coaster. Created with hand molded walnut plywood and finished with a food-safe finish, the service was the focus of the dessert offerings- allowing for individual cakes as well as the ceremonial cake to be cut.
